5th Annual Triathlon a Great Success!

Chengelo held our 5th Annual Triathlon this past weekend and it was a great success again this year with 125 secondary students participating in the Triathlons and Biathlons and 66 primary students taking part in the PRi-Athalon! Four teams and one individual attempted the epic Olympic Triathlon event that included a 1.5km swim, a 40km cycle and a 10km run. Mkushi parent Mr Holding did a magnificent job, finishing in 3hrs and 44 minutes while a team of five Sixth Form boys completed it in a fantastic time of 2hrs and 41 minutes. What a difference a friend makes!

Our primary students were again a credit to their school, completing a combined 200km of running, cycling and swimming around the school site, with 20 individuals completing the course on their own. A special mention as always to the Pre-schoolers who also took part, combining to complete the whole course together. Great work Primary!

Lots of fun was had by all, running and cycling through beautiful local farmland on a bright sunny day. Congratulations to all who participated!
