Primary Inter-house Cross-Country

On the 16th of March, Chengelo Primary held their annual Inter-House Cross Country competition. Due to Covid-19 guidelines we sadly weren’t able to have any spectators this year, but there was still plenty of loud cheering and encouragement from teachers and children. Thankfully the rain held off and a wonderful afternoon of competition commenced! All the Primary school children were able to run their races (on all new routes) and earn points for their house.

The new routes were as follows:

– U5/U6 – 430m
– U7/U8 – 760m
– U9/U10 – 1km
– U11/U12 – 2km

In what turned out to be a very close competition, Kudu came in third with 94 points, Sable second with 95 points and Impala victorious with 104 points!
