Chengelo School Chess Tournament

It was wonderful to be able to hold our Secondary School Chess Tournament this term in two consecutive weekends. The children had great fun over the 2 weekends of competition and it was fantastic to see these chess enthusiasts making amazing moves as they competed with confidence and progressing through the round-robin stages to the finals. 

Special congratulations to the following students:

Junior school

1st Position: Keza Kalungu, Form 2

2nd Position: Neil Dons, Form 2

Senior School

1st Position: Mufaweli Sichone, Form 5

2nd Position: Jun Lai Wang, Form 3

Keza Kalungu emerged ultimate winner of the competition as Mufaweli Sichone claimed second place and Jun Lai Wang scooped the third place position.
These pupils were a joy to watch as they aspire to be Grandmasters.
