ISAZ Athletics
Chengelo’s Athletics Team were on another winning streak at the ISAZ Athletics in Ndola at the weekend.
They returned as overall winners in both the Boys’ and Girls’ categories. They also claimed the title as the Best Performing School in Athletics for the 8th year in a row.
Special mention must go to:
- Clarize Van Der Nest for setting a new record in the U16 girls Javelin
- Grace Chanza, for her contributions to the senior girls’ team
- Natasha Malokota for her continued unbeaten streak in the 1500m
- Chimya Bwalya for his outstanding performance in the U19 boys’ 400m missing the record by 300 hundredths of a second
- Shammeka Banda for her excellent run in the 4x100m relay
