Congratulations Chengelo Sixth Form Class of 2021

Chengelo Sixth Form Students Do It Again!

After another year of unprecedented disruption to academic studies in 2021, Chengelo today received the results for our Sixth Form students. Congratulations are in order to our students, who have worked so hard!
 
Our Upper Sixth students had 100% pass rate, with 38% of all grades being A*-A, and 56% A* – B!
 
Our top performing Upper Sixth student was Jinglin Li with an awesome A* A* A* A* (Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics), who currently holds offers from a number of universities in the UK to study materials science and engineering. Well done, Jinglin!
 
Special mentions must also go to Mubanga Mutimushi, who gained an impressive A, A, D (Business, Psychology, Computer Science), and Namweemba Muhundika, who gained a strong A, B, B, B (Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics).
 
Our Lower Sixth students had 99% pass rate, with 27% of all grades awarded being an A grade, and 74% of all grades being A-C (there is no A* grade at AS Level).
 
Our top performing Lower Sixth student was Chimwemwe Malokota with an impressive A, A, A, B, C (English Literature, English General, Psychology, History, Biology). Well done, Chimwemwe!
 
Special mentions must also go to the following:
Mweo Mpundu: A, A, A, C (Business, English Literature, Psychology, History)
Jedaiah Simwanza: A, A, B, B (English Literature, English General, History, Psychology)
Misozi Lubusha: A, A, B, B (Business, Psychology, Biology, Mathematics)
 
In addition, 10 of our Form 4 students were specially selected to sit an AS in English General three years early. We are exceptionally proud of their results with 100% pass rate: 90% A, and 100% A-B.
A special mention must go to Mulambo Haimbe, who gained an amazing 94% in this qualification!

It goes without saying that we are incredibly proud of all our students, who have shown great resilience, academically, mentally and spiritually, to achieve such results in the face of the adversity and uncertainty of 2021. We give God the thanks and glory for carrying us through another year.
