The Annual Chengelo Chess Challenge

The Annual Chengelo Chess Challenge: There was great concentration over the weekend as Junior and Senior pupils from across the school pitted against each other in a quiet quest for victory.

It was wonderful to see so many of our students take part in this competition, held over two weekends. According to chess aficionados, chess is so much more than protecting Kings, capturing Queens and stealing Rooks. It is a marvellous educational tool offering tangible academic, social and wellbeing outcomes.
