After a period of significant growth, we are seeking dedicated educators to join our team to drive the school forward into its next phase.   POSITION AVAILABLE: Primary School Teacher with Assistant Hostel Parent Role The Primary School Teacher will make the education of the pupils their first concern and will be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. The teacher will act with honesty and integrity, have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as a teacher up-to-date, and be self-critical. They will forge positive professional relationships and work with parents in the best interests of the pupils.   PERSON PROFILE:
  • Holds a degree in Education or a relevant field and is a licensed teacher.
  • Possesses a minimum of three years’ teaching experience, preferably in the Cambridge curriculum or similar.
  • Demonstrates expertise in teaching young learners and fostering a nurturing classroom environment.
  • Has a proven track record of excellent pupil engagement and progress.
  • Employs innovative teaching strategies that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Commits to continuous professional development and contributes to the growth of the Primary Department.
  • Upholds strong Christian values and is dedicated to the vision and mission of Chengelo School.
  REMUNERATION: Staff who work at Chengelo do so out of a sense of calling and are paid at good local Zambian rates.
