We require a Principal to start in June, 2025
- Leadership and Strategy: Provide visionary leadership to drive the Secondary School’s academic and spiritual goals.
- Curriculum Oversight: Ensure the delivery of a high-quality curriculum that meets international standards and promotes Christian values.
- Staff Development: Lead, mentor, and support teaching staff, fostering professional growth and collaborative teamwork.
- Pastoral Care: Oversee the spiritual and emotional well-being of students, nurturing their character and faith development.
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community, acting as a key ambassador for the school.
- Operational Management: Ensure effective resource allocation, budgeting, and day-to-day operations within the Secondary School.
- A recognized teaching qualification and a postgraduate degree in education or leadership.
- Significant leadership experience within a secondary school setting, preferably as a deputy head or headteacher.
- A mature, active Christian faith with a passion for discipleship and Christian education.
- Experience in international or boarding schools.
- Proven ability to innovate and lead change in an educational context.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with outdoor education and holistic learning approaches.

We require a Head of Secondary to start in June, 2025
- Monitor and ensure a safe supply of power from ZESCO and the generators to the school
- Ensure safe connections of power to buildings
- Run the generators as directed
- Replace, fit and monitor light fittings, sockets, switches and other related electrical items
- Service and maintain school electrical equipment
- Repair faults correctly and advise on safe practices
- Use the correct equipment and tools to carry out tasks and maintain safety at all times
- Isolate unsafe connections and exposed wire
- Communicate all concerns to the Site Manager
- Carry out any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
- EIZ registered
- Proven experience working in a maintenance role
- Minimum of Trades certificate in Electrical

Chengelo Training Farm Background
Chengelo Training Farm (CTF) is located in Mkushi, Zambia and was set up in 1994 with the vision to be a place that inspires and equips the leaders of today and tomorrow with a Godly vision, knowledge and passion for agriculture. The farm has 3 aims:
- To provide a reliable and consistent supply of quality and nutritious fresh food to the school and community.
- To provide a practical base to support the teaching of agriculture to pupils at Chengelo School.
- To "reach out" (be a witness) into the local community by sharing knowledge and training in agriculture.
- Oversee existing operations, managing and working with the Production Manager and Business Manager to ensure the farm operates on a financially self-sustaining level.
- Manage the development of each department in-line with the regenerative agricultural vision of CTF.
- Research and introduce new regenerative farming principles to existing operations.
- Engage and work with Chengelo School teachers to make the farm accessible to every pupil, contributing to their understanding of food production and sustainable stewardship of the land.
- Develop, market and run an excellent programme of training courses.
- Take the lead on investing in the spiritual health and capacity of our farm employees.
- Report to and work with the CTF Management Committee to achieve the strategic goals for the farm.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have a mature Christian faith and a sense of calling to serve others through agricultural training. They need a passion for sustainable/regenerative agriculture and have strong leadership, communication and business management skills. They should also have an ability to engage with children of all ages. If the candidate is married, there may also be serving opportunities for the spouse on the farm or at Chengelo School (www.chengeloschool.org).
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Degree qualification in agriculture.
- Experience in running a regenerative livestock operation.

- Dairy and piggery management experience.
- Certificate and experience in Artificial Insemination.
- Feed mixing experience and good understanding of animal nutrition.
- Horticulture and orchard management experience.
- Machinery maintenance experience.

- Food hygiene qualification.
- Drivers licence.
